• Vintage Tissot W151 “Genuine WoodWatch”, produced in the 1980s - a rare minimalist design with a solid wood case and matching wood-grain dial
• Case and dial crafted from genuine burl wood, ~38mm diameter, each with a unique, one-of-a-kind grain pattern
• Gold-tone hands and crown, mineral crystal, Swiss quartz movement
• Stainless steel screw-down case back stamped “Genuine WoodWatch,” Tissot “T” logo, Swiss Quartz W151, 9A / 850
• Original brown leather strap with visible age and patina (cracking near the buckle end, consistent with genuine vintage wear)
• Tissot has a history of unusual material experiments, alongside the WoodWatch, they made a RockWatch (case cut from actual granite) and even a stone-dial “Pearl” watch, part of a wider 1980s push to prove watches could be made from “impossible” materials.
• Because the case is real wood, no two W151 watches are identical. The grain pattern is unique to each piece, making it a genuine one-off even though it was a production model.
